Can you beat the Online Casinos?

Steven Morris article in the Guardian newspaper on Tuesday March 23, 2004 described how a gang took the Ritz Casino for £1.3m! It is claimed detectives are investigating claims that a gang used a computer to help beat the roulette wheel. The law forbids "unlawful devices". However in previous cases suspects have been able to argue that they had not interfered with a game, simply used a system to win. The government is in the process of introducing new gambling laws which it hopes will make clearer what constitutes cheating at casinos and other places where gambling takes place. Mark Griffiths, Europe's only professor of gambling, said: "On roulette mathematical systems have been used for years. When you've got technology involved it improves the chances." Given the hype, we have been looking at the pro's and con's of roulette systems.

We tried 26 systems currently available on the net. To be truthful, most fell short and the majority lost money. However there were a few exceptions.

The best performer by a clear mile was RoulettePro by ezesoftware.co.uk. This system does the normal low risk cover all bet, but we found the best results came using the "High Risk" setting. On this mode the system predicts single numbers with what appears to be amazing frequency! The system is free to try and is really easy to use. We gave this 10/10.

A very poor second was Don Young Infallible Roulette System from roulettewinner.com. We finished with a small profit, just luck I think! We gave this 2/10  

Third was Paragon Roulette from paragonroulette.com . We didn't lose is the best I can say. We gave this 1/10  

The rest were equally as bad as each other. We lost money in varying degrees and could not recommend any.

Most would say roulette is pure luck. However there is an argument that online casinos use of random number generators means that it is not just down to luck. No generated random number can ever be truly random, it will always follow a written code however complex. Therefore it follows, that there is always a chance a system will crack the RNG's and beat the Online Casinos.
